Hey everyone, welcome to part 2 of my August blog! Today I would like to show you my sausage plait. As you can see, I baked this with my little sister, Harriet. The first picture is of me making the pastry and the second picture is of Harriet making her pastry. The middle picture shows the filling before going in the pastry. The fourth picture is of me rolling out my pastry and the last one is of Harriet rolling out hers. This is the finished product. My sausage plait!!!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful summer and great holidays. This August I have been doing a lot of baking, so I decided to show you what I have made. The first thing I would like to show you is my apple and blackberry crumble!
First I rubbed butter in to flour to make them look like breadcrumbs and then I stirred in some sugar. I peeled two (cooking) apples and chopped them into slices. Next I put the apples in an ovenproof dish along with some blackberries. Afterwards, I put my crumble mix on top and spread it out evenly. Finally I put my crumble in the oven for 30 mins then served with warm custard. You could also serve it with cream too. I hope you liked my crumble blog . See you soon!! |
